The Aquamarine is the Birthstone for March. 

The aquamarine gets its name from "sea water", this is obvious as aqua sparkles like the sea and the colour ranges from a pale to medium blue with a hint of green. The aquamarine gem stone is a variety of the mineral beryl.  Aquamarine hardness ranges between 7.5-8.0.

Aquamarine is said to have a soothing influence and is therefore a very good anniversary present, as it ensures a long and happy marriage.  Its youthful essence is said to renew your spirit and nourish you. 

Aquamarine is also the 19th anniversary gemstone.
