The Diamond or CZ are the Birthstones for April. 

The diamond gemstone is the most purest and hardest gem stone known to man.  It is mainly colourless, but also found in blue, yellow, pink, brown, amber red and green.  Diamond hardness is 10. 

Diamonds reflect light and this is said to help increase personal clarity in the mind and body. 

CZ's are often confused with zircon which is a natural occuring gemstone whilst CZ is synthetic.

Diamond is also the 10th, 60th and 75th anniversary gemstone.
